What is OpenOffice.org Productivity Suite?

  • Base (database)

OpenOffice.org is Open-Source software, which means it is free to use for private, governmental, educational and commercial purposes, may be installed on an unlimited number of computers, and may be copied and distributed without restriction.

Considerations

  • Although OpenOffice.org Suite can create, save and open Microsoft Office documents, it may not fully support the very latest features.  Be sure to fully test any required features if considering migrating to OpenOffice.org from Microsoft Office
